Philip is a Principal in the New York office of McKinsey & Company and has been with the firm since 1994. He co-leads the firm’s Global Payments Practice comprised of over 100 partners. He works extensively with a diverse set of financial services, non-financial and technology firms on a broad array of strategic, operations and organizational issues.

Retail Payments/cards & Deposits– Assists players across the value chain (issuing, merchant acquiring, network, private label) including a leading US issuer, on a range of product development, digital marketing, analytics/risk, customer experience, and operations topics
Digital Payments – Serves technology firms and banks with digital payments strategy and execution including strategic partnerships/acquisitions, P2P offerings, digital commerce ecosystem strategy; he also serves emerging payments players in the digital payments and merchant acquiring arena
Payments infrastructure and policy – Philip serves payments networks, bank owned utilities, network operators and central banks around the world on policy issues, strategy, real-time payments and operational effectiveness
